DAMAC Properties was founded in Dubai in 2002 by Hussain Sajwani, an Emirati businessman whose group also holds interests outside real estate; the company listed on the DFM in 2015 and was taken private again in 2022.
DAMAC’s defining play is the branded residence — collaborations with Versace, Roberto Cavalli, de GRISOGONO and Trump-branded golf communities have given the developer one of the most recognisable luxury brand stacks in the region. At master-community scale, DAMAC Hills, DAMAC Hills 2 and DAMAC Lagoons span villa, townhouse and apartment product types.
For our clients DAMAC is a developer of consequence — large portfolio, deep marketing reach, and a recognisable luxury label. As with any volume luxury operator, project selection matters: we work with the units, locations and handover specs that have historically held value, and steer around the rest.
